Review:
If that synopsis didn't made you buy the book immediately I don't know what you're doing with your life, seriously, once I read that I knew the book had to be read as soon as possible! It didn't disappoint! I loved this book and I'm looking forward to read the following books in this series!
I'm not going into full detail about this book because I think it's best to go into it without knowing to much about the plot, and the book it self. The only thing I knew about it was that there were aliens. It was probably why I loved the book so much. I was surprised and confused in the most pleasant why you can imagine!
All the characters are full of surprises, you think you know what they are about to do, and then they do the opposite, it was unnerving most the most the times, but in the good way.
Also the plot is full of twists and turns, you never really know what really is happening. Every time you finally understand what is going on, you read something else and everything changes! I was constantly trying to make sense of all that but I couldn't, I was constantly being taken aback.
Because if I am the last one, then I am humanity.
And if this is humanity's last war, then I am the battlefield.
I highly recommend The 5th Wave, it was the best book I've read so far this year! It was everything I was hoping for and more. If you haven't read the book, go buy it, read it, and then comment down below telling me what you thought about it!
