Feature and Follow #12

Feature and Follow Friday is a meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

Question of the Week: Do you have a go to genre when you're happy, sad, or angry?
When I'm happy I don't really have a genre, I like to read everything. Ehen I'm sad I either read Harry Potter or Stephanie Perkins. When I'm angry I prefer not to read because I can never enjoy the book fully.

  1. I'll read just about anything when I'm happy too. Harry Potter sounds like a great read to cheer you up. I haven't ever tried re-reading them (because they're so long), but I do like the sound of reading them as a pick-me-up.

    1. Harry Potter is the perfect cheer up! Specially the first 3 books! I've re-read the HP series at least 3 times! I can never get enough!

  2. Yeah I find if I'm too emotional...usually a negative kind...I don't want to read at all. But I don't have any go to genres either.

  3. Usually, my moods didn't really effect what I was reading but lately, it has been! I am kind of sick at the moment and so I'm trying to read James and The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl, Firstly, RD is funny, secondly, the book's so great and I LOVE IT! :) It's my first time reading it but when I'm sad or sick, I prefer to turn to Childrens books! :) Or something that will lift me up and want me to get reading again!

Other times, I just read whatever's available to me! :)

  4. I don't read a lot when I'm angry either. I'm more of a music listener if I'm too upset Jessi The Book Cove

    1. So am I! I don't want to dislike a book just because of my bad mood!
